Has anyone done this?
Is it being incorporated into the new aircraft sold?

So, what's the story on this issue. I just saw it a few days ago on Tecnam Owners Facebook. The guy that was asking about it posted the info and it was only talking about the JC version. At that time, I surmised that maybe it was only for the JC's because of the higher MTOW. Unfortunately, the link that Ronin attached here won't open for me. The facebook post also said it was free till the end of this month. If I need one, I definitely want the free one knowing the cost of typical Tecnam parts. Anybody got ideas? Thanks.

I sent Tecnam US an email last week asking for one. I haven’t heard from them yet. My plane has a safety cable but, the actual stop is the internal travel limit of the oleo. Ed

I spoke with Josh today. There is some confusion about this. So there was a SB issued showing the parts are free .... only to those certified ones in Europe. He also said that its a universal part which could be installed on the LSA version. Parts cost about 1000.00 customer to pay. I'm going to pass this, maybe for a flight school p2008.

...I'm going to pass this, maybe for a flight school p2008. Yes I agree. This mod is a must for flight schools. IMO this isn't needed if the plane is landed properly, which is on the main gear. The nosewheel and the attachment is designed to be used for steering and directional control and will not take the punishing loads from a 3 point landing that are quite common for student pilots. If someone lands a plane with nosewheel in a 3 point attitude, they are landing too fast.

Thanks for following up on this. Purty much what I had suspected... a JC version issue and it's not cheap.

Hard pass here as well. I think it's a well documented fact that all US pilots have never had a hard landing.

Has anyone in the US had the issue this part is purported to repair?
