I’ve heard the term “smoking rivet.” Is that what this is? If so, how vital is it that I get the rivet drilled out and replaced? This is right beside the pilot foot support (maybe at some point a heavy person used the foot support and it stressed the airframe?). I pressed hard on them and the skin does not depress, so is it okay? Seems the other side of these rivets are under the floor mat in the pilot footwell.

I'd call those "Smoking," or "Working," rivets and replace them if I saw this in an annual inspection. Tecnam seems to have used rivets from whatever the Italian version of Ace Hardware is all over their airframes; I'd replace them with CherryMAX rivets of the appropriate length and girth. I've seen more than one of their stock rivets fail and have the head shear off into the yonder.
