Anyone else on here ever fly to the Bahamas? This Tecnam is the third LSA I've landed on the islands in the past year. So glad I made the switch, because the Tecnam is far easier to land in island crosswinds compared to my old Skycatcher or CTLS.

+1 here. My first time landing there was in a C-162 as well. 100% agree, the P2008 is much more forgiving.

+1 here. My first time landing there was in a C-162 as well. 100% agree, the P2008 is much more forgiving. Nice! There can't be many of us with C-162 hours logged over there! I actually liked the Skycatcher for the most part. My main problems with it were speed, no digital fuel indicators, and range. That said, I immediately regretted selling it after purchasing my Flight Design. |
