Hello folks,
I am looking for the part number for the turbo scavenge pump hose for our Astore with the turbo 914ul2 installed. I understand that these metric oil hoses need to be sourced overseas from Italy?? Is this really what you guys do every five years?
Does anyone have a copy of my airplanes IPC?
I have an Astore 912UL2 IPC (and an AMM) from tecnam usa... Just does not show what I am needing. I have been trying to get these ordered for a week and I am just not getting anywhere.
Thank you in advance and have a great veterans day weekend, thank you for your service!

Yes, perhaps... I wish they posted the turbo charger oil hose length. Nice find though...
As I understand it, the oil lines are Tecnam and in each (model/design) installation, the position of the oil tank determines the hose length. Perhaps I am picking the pepper out of the fly poop. I don't want to order and then find out it is not the correct (perfect) hose for my application/installation

Both Leading Edge and Lockwood could tell you if the part length and fittings match what you have in your plane. Tecnam in Seabring should be able to e-mail you the IPC for no charge. I assume you are working on a SLSA so you are obligated to use factory parts. Many owners have converted over to ELSA in order to update avionics and make improvements in the engine bay. There are superior teflon hoses with better fittings available in that case. With a ESLA you can go "on condition" rather than the 5 year time out. Lockwood should be able to sort out what's Tecnam from what's Rotax for you. In general, the oil and coolant lines are done by the airframe maker but a fitting like the turbo sump return might come with the engine. I know a lot of shops use good quality hoses like Gates to complete the 5 year rubber...... but it ain't regulation. Here is the place to go for custom made hoses if you want better than factory: www.aircraftspecialty.com

This due to the fact that the sump and the radiator positions are not the same on every type of aircraft. I found this out the hard way a few years ago when doing the 5 year rubber replacement. I had a lot of trouble trying to obtain a correct coolant hose. Neither Sebring or Capua had the correct hose in stock.

And I love his (*LifeTime / 10 year warranty) product for... any experimental.

I've got my parts order in to Tecnam. My carburetors dropped off hand delivered to Lockwood for the 5 year IRAN and the remainder of the Rotax parts will be shipped back to the ranch with the carbs next week. Now I need to get those fancy cable operated hose spring clamp plier tool... Amazon has them for $10+ Thank you all for the replies and assistance! Keep the shiny side up!
