Update. took the nose wheel pant off. All 4 bolts tight. The big nut on the bottom was snug. I called the place that I just had my 25 hr, and they confirmed they checked that 5-6 kg resistance.
I spun the wheel and took video. Definitely out of balance. The wheel spins in one direction, and then slows down and spins backwards to a stop, settling down to the heavy portion of the wheel. I'd post the video but it's too big a file for this forum. Sent photos and video to Tecnam.

Spoke with three parties. The tech shop where I get the aircraft serviced, Mark, and Tecnam. Waiting for Italy to provide their 2 cents, as it was a national holiday there. I'm either going to fix/replace this tire, or upgrade to Beringers. Although the Beringers are not an upgrade I was planning on, it is tempting when I hear the reviews on here.

From Tecnam's Line Maintenance Manual: "Nose wheel tire............Sava 4.00-6 tire and tube or may be replaced with a similar size aircraft tire or tube."
If you just wanted to replace the nose wheel, Aircraft Spruce sells a Beringer 4.00-6 nose wheel for $498.00 online. (PN 06-02017)
PS - They claim the following: "Save up to 4 Lbs on your experimental aircraft with lightweight Beringer nose wheels."

4 lbs for just the nosewheel? What are the Matco wheel rims made of, cast iron?

Unfortunately some of the info in the manual is outdated. We haven't used the 4x6 front tire since 2013.
The nose wheel tire is now 5x5, same as the main wheel tires. The Beringer wheels look nice with the machined aluminum and anodizing but you cant see very much of them under the wheel pants.
No I don't think you will save 4 lbs but the Beringers are significantly lighter. Even with the 10 ply Michelin aviator tubeless tires the net result is 1/2 to 1 lb reduction in weight.
So the tires themselves are heavier but the wheels are lighter with the end result slightly lighter.

Barringer wheels will solve your shimmy problem. A new Beringer brake system is awesome also. They replace everything from the cylinders under the toe brake to the wheel (they do not replace the lines). They are so effective that you can skid the tires with just moderate pressure. No, I am not suggesting you skid the tires, just saying they are so effective that it can easily be done. I had to stand on my brakes to slow down with my old system. Beringer eliminated one of the major weaknesses of Tecnam. Expensive, YES.

Thanks for the testimonial geo. I'll make a decision this week.

Thanks geo. Did yours shudder only when braking? Mine is only the nose wheel, but it starts as soon as the nose wheel touches down. Cluemeister: It would shutter BOTH when touching down and when at high speed. I balanced the nose wheel and set the left/right tension , which helped perhaps 25%, but it still was not good. I finally gave up and purchased Beringer, and I got the extra benefit of having powerful brakes. Another benefit of Beringer is the tires and brakes last years. I was replacing my original tires and brake pads yearly. It is so wonderful to have a glass-smooth landing. You feel like such a good pilot. Only your wallet will be sad.

The Beringer set for the P2008 I received needs a new axle design for the front nose wheel. Tecnam changed the nose wheel fork, so the axle in this set does not fit. Mark and Beringer are working on an axle that will fit the new fork, and then I will arrange for installation.
