Well I received a picture of my aircraft today, prior to its departure from Italy! A little background: I am having the plane painted and seats re-upholstered here in the US after arrival. So the plane has generic vinyl as it departs. As I write this it is on a container, leaving Italy!

I did look closely to make sure they put the right engine in the aircraft.

Congratulations Greg!! Good choice, I really enjoy mine! But I'm wondering what is getting repainted? It looks completely finished. I took my seats to a upholstery shop and had them add as much foam as possible and it made a big difference in comfort, when Phil Lockwood took it for a test ride he said it was the first time sitting in a P2008 that his head touched the ceiling.

PS - I would suggest downloading Google Translate. Some sections of my POH were in Italian!

At least you guys got a POH that was for your airplane ... mine was for a 912 Astore!!! I had to ask for a 914 version (which Tecnam sent me via PDF ... and fortunately, it was in English!)

I was re reading some of the old posts and I believe timb had his seats reappolstered with extra foam. Sporty's has a $39.00 "swoosh" seat that's only 1/2 in thick and it really does help. It stays in place and is a good way to help the problem. Mark also has a shop take out a band in the seat that can bug your tail bone. Might ask him more. He did that on my P 2008. garyfrick

Hi Greg,
I was at Tecnam today and saw your new P2008. I took a few pics. As soon as I can figure how to upload I will post them.
Thanks,
Jim
